Im in the proses of a shell off restore on a
1967 tradwind, I have the frame, floor done and have the shell sitting back on. On my trailer not all the ribs go to the floor or even close to the C channel. The road side has the most ribs that attach to the C channel (all except the ones over the wheel well)but the curb side has one in front of the door about 18 inches and one in the rear just behind the wheel well. The problem is the curb side skin being attached with clekos, I notised that there is a sage or bow in the shin like that side is lower? I think it has to do with the door frame being removed right now. The door and frame was removed before I received the trailer. they cut the skin to do this so Im going to replace the skin around the door and install the frame. But with the shell sagging on that side how would you figure out the location and cut out the door hole in the skin? This model has the frame between the outer and inter skin. no pics right now maybe monday?
