It works extremely well on the end caps and not as well on the 2024-T3 tempered skins. On the tempered skins a helper is required to hold a backing plate to the exterior while rolling from the inside. It is difficult to get a flat skin perfectly flat again but the imperfection can be minimized. if the skin took a hit from a 57 Buick then skin replacement will be in order.
Hail dents WILL
disappear all by themselves, except with the segments.
Simply leave the trailer in the sun.
Your flat metal is tempered stress releaved.
The small dents add stress.
The sun will make them go away, with you doing nothing.
We proved that in 1970.
Also dent rollers are not much good for stretched aluminum.
