Dent Repair

Hi,
Last month in Eastern Oregon I backed our 1995 Soverign, (22 foot) into a pine tree. The result is a dent above the right tail light about 10 inches around and 3 inches deep affecting 2 panels. I have turned this in to our insurance company and wonder if any of you have any recommendations on a shop to do this repair. We live in western Washington State.
Thanks for any help.
Phil

There used to be a great A.S. body shop in Tacoma, they sold to someone
called "Great American R.V." in Fife. If they kept the same guys, I'd use them.
George Sutton in Oregon has a good rep, but I don't know if they do body
work.

Airstream of Spokane has a highly rated body shop. See their website for pics of some of the work they've done.

Dent repair

Thanks for the ideas. Today I called Great American RV in Tacoma (Fife). They are the AS dealer for western WA. They send their AS body work down the street to a place called Wescraft. I talked to Wescraft and they claim they know how to do AS body work.
I just checked the website of the Spokane Wa AS dealer and they have pics of an AS they repaired that had a dent just like ours. It appears they did a great job but they are about 300 miles from us.
Does any one know about Wescraft in Tacoma?
Thanks
Phil

Ask to see some pictures of any repairs that Wescraft has completed on Airstreams. Do they have any in the shop at this time? Any references for similar AS repairs?

Even though 300 miles may be a far drive, the insurance co should pay for some of the trip if you tell them that AS Spokane is the nearest qualified repair facility.

Better be safe & do it right the first time . . . it's your baby!

Check out Wescraft a little more. Like I said, if they're the body guys from
the Fife AS dealer; they're the best.
