Buck Rivet Tutorial sought

Hey Gang-

This spring I am hoping to learn how to Buck Rivets. Does any one know of any video or Youtubes that demonstrates the technique for two person bucking of rivets?? It would seem that there is more to know that it appears...

Any suggestions or directions to such a video is appreciated!!

Alex (waiting for Spring)

if you want to give me a call tomorrow, I would be glad to talk you through it. It really is not too hard. I find that you need to mess up at least once to learn what not to do.

It's easy to install bucked rivets if you have the proper tools. A good rivet gun is imperative as is a quality bucking bar. VTS has a set that is a good value or you can order from several aircraft supply houses, especially ones that cater to folks building Van's RV series homebuilts. Do a lot of practice rivets before you try to install them on an important exterior panel. You will get the feel for how much air to run through the gun and what it feels like when the rivet is bucked. I've done a lot on airplanes and it is fun.
