Hello first post. sorry for the english. I am from Canada the french part (Québec). I have a new airstream and the belt line and rub rail trim is pulled away in one place on my door. I wonder if i should I put any sealent behind the trim before and behind the rivet before I rivet the loose area? Also what length rivet do I use? Thank you...

I would return a new AS to the dealer for a warranty repair. If it is something you want to repair on yor own, yes you need to seal the back of the rail. Trempro 635 is what I like, and is used by several here.

Available from several sources, like Vintage Trailer Supply, at this link:

TremPro 635

May also be found at some local fasterner and high end hardware stores.

A "medium" reach rivet should be fine.

Be certain to use aluminum rivets on that door. Steel ones will corrode.
If it's to be, it's up to me.
