AS trim
I am working on replacing several panels on my AS and was looking over some of the photos of the intermediate horizontal trim on my trailer. It was placed around the trailer but stopped at the Land Yacht logo to the left of the door. I noticed that some trailers did not even have this trim. Was this a add on later thing? Is it necessary?
I can see the reason it was used at the bottom where the underbelly wrap comes up to conceal the lap, but reading threads most of the underbelly wraps are going under the top panel skin. As far as I can see the factory ran the underbelly over top of the skin and then ran a trim on top of this with a seal silicone caulk on the trim. Was this just a faster way for the manufacturer? not much I can do about how the lower underbelly wrap is at this point.
