...Wow...Makes me almost wish for an Argosy, so I could con, er, "talk", yeah, "talk" you into doing that for mine...
It looks really good.
Now, for the wise-guy comment: What sway control are you using with that tractor?

Hi Shari; Top half is Off White Pettit Easypoxy. Lower is Pettit Easypoxy as well, Grand Banks Beige. Primer is Interlux brand Vinyl Lux Primewash Base [sprayed on] for a uniform coat and no sanding needed if overcoated within 24 hours. Have no idea why paint looks flat in the pics but in reality is very shiny. Thanks "Boatdoc"

Hmmm... Tell us more... How many coats? What did you do for surface prep? Did you strip the original finish or paint over it? Last but not least, how long is the trailer and how much paint did it require?
TIA

Beauty!!!
We just finished painting the topsides of our fiberglass boat with Petitt off-white Easypoxy, so this give us confidence that maybe we could do the same with "Our Gussy!"
Any chance of posting some more painting tips on the forum? What size/type of roller did you use? Did you tip it off? If so, with what type of brush.
When we did the boat, we used a 5" high density foam roller (made in Germany) & tipped with a high-end foam brush. We also found that the wet edge could be better maintained with a few drops of Penetrol in the paint.
Guess you must have done this inside as we had to wait for the boat's surfaces to be in the shade - else, the paint didn't flow as well on the hot surface.
Great Job!

WELCOME BACK!!!
I'm guessing a roller in one hand and a "tip off" brush in the other.
5 coats. just guessing, 400 wet between coats? just guessing
Reduced 15 % still just guessing

The pics of the rear do look very shiny. If the rest of the trailer is that shiny (and I bet it is), it should be the hit of the next rally you attend.
It being epoxy, what special care will you need to take of the finish?

Reminds me of this story:
There was this down and out guy going door to door looking for work. A lady at one house told him out in the back he'd find a bucket of yellow paint to paint the porch. He knocked on her door a few hours later and said "I'm all done lady but that wasn't a Porsche it was a Ferrari. I wonder if he also used a roller?

Nice paint job. I didn't think a roller job would look that good.

Great request. I second the request!
PLEASE . . . bestow upon us all your painting tips and 20/20 hindsight-insight. My husband is toying with the roller idea just from reading your thread. The soon to be ours Argosy may be getting a paint job more quickly than I anticipated!
Thanks so much for posting.

Hi Sergei; I was going to form the banana wraps on the English Wheel but that would take a lot of time so I took the easy way out and purchased them in plastic. They will be installed last perhaps in February. They will be painted with Pettit Easypoxy in Burgundy color to match the anodized belly wrap. Thanks, "Boatdoc"
