I'm looking for the dimensions of this neat storage unit that you find in most Classic Airstreams since the 1990s. This unit is mounted to the right of the main door, stores two lawn chairs and usually comes with a small flip-top table. This area is empty in my 1972 Sovereign and I'd love have a similar unit there. Can somebody provide me with the basic dimensions? Need length, height, and width of the unit.
Thanks in advance.

I do want to see pics ... I've got two ZipDee chairs, and I keep them behind the fold-down table on the credenza, and they stay there just fine during travel. But when the table is folded out, then they want to fall over if I don't take them out, so I've been thinking of building something to hold them in place. Thus: photos, please!
Okay, here it is. The finished product with a dark walnut finish and semi-gloss polyurethane coating. It took my dad about 2 days to build this and another day to stain and let dry. Looks great, perfect storage for my two Zip Dee chairs.

Did you figure it out just from the pictures and measurements? Cant wait to see the finished product. I sometimes think im handy that way but when im finished its not up to my expectation. I will leave the wood work to the professionals.. Im sure yours will come out great.
Those things are even older than the 90's. IIRC there is one on my 1980 Excella. I am about 1060 miles away from it at the moment or I would check it for you.
