Unusual dinette bed

I came across this idea and thought it was quite unusual and might work well in trailer. Just putting it out there.

Hardwood decks are standard in the cabin below, as is the electrically-actuated table. Here we see the table in the down position. Now the bench seats can move inward and the backrests will automatically fall into place becoming part of the mattress... ...and create a "queen" bed.

Clever. Not entirely sure it's applicable to a trailer; never seen one with a V-berth.

However, one could adapt the idea by having facing sofas that slide together. Possibly by embedding sections of mast track in the floor, and fastening the sofas to modified sail cars or spinnaker boom cars so they slide along the tracks. Then both sodas could slide together to meet in the middle as with the V-berth in the photos, or one sofa could slide all the way across to meet the other along a wall.

Ah very true but I know I've seen a picture of a super old trailer maybe a Bolus with a V berth, that's what got my grey matter going.

Maybe the new Bolus is built that way, minus the table. Looks like some type of boat design.
