under counter tambour replacement

I have replaced all of the tambour in my 76 sovereign except that under the stove. Mine has the stovetop and the heater is under the stove (oven in bedroom wall). I think the tambour is supposed to roll into a canister, but mine won't because it's warped. My problem is how to get to the canister or whatever it is that it rolls into. Does anyone have any experience in removing this from a 76 model? Thanks ken

You might try looking at the connection point with a flashlight and mirror. I had to remove my cookstove to get at them...

On my '76 Caravanner mine were attached with sheet metal screws to the cabinet.
