uncomfortable dinette

I purchased a 2007 Safari SE 20' in May this year. We love it and have been out 3 times. However, the dinette area is really uncomfortable. You cannot relax to watch TV in the evening. I really noticed it this time because we had so much rain!!! Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it nicer to sit and relax? I thought about building an extra couch piece across the back when the table is removed and adding plenty of cushions??? What have you guys done.....or am I just expecting too much from a 20' trailer????

One thing we noticed in our '07 20' is that that seat cushions went kaput on the aisle side, where we always sit. Swapping the side of the table each cushion was on gave us brand new parts to sit in. Like new comfort!

We added more pillows and made more of a couch out of our dinette. When we eat inside we use tv fold out trays.
