In my remodel of my '73 Safari kitchen, I had an odd space under the oven. The open area inboard of the water heater was about 10" deep, so I made a tilt-out drawer for the space. If you plan the cross section just right, you can either lift up and remove the whole drawer, or you can tilt it out and it will catch at about 60 degrees.
Here's the drawer closed and open.
The trapezoidal cross section allows the drawer to swing open and catch on the cabinet rail above.
The key to making this work is a 3/4 x 3/4" bar under the drawer box. The cabinet rail below the drawer is routed to 1/2" radius, as well as the bar. I allowed about 1/16" space between the bar and the drawer front to promote an easy swing action.
