Question Table for 1964 Bambi II

We have the couch and goucho. But I would like a table of some sort. there was a strip of some kind on the wall between the two , indicating that there was a table of some kind. Any one know what it would look like?

Welcome and good luck with your Bambi II. My Bambi II is very original on the inside and shows no sign of a table in that area. There are several other B II ownerss out there so see what they say.

Welcome to another Bambi II owner,

Same here, no table.

I have portions of the ORIGINAL owners manual ( a big rat ate the other portions ) . I do have the page with the floor plan diagram and it does not show a table either.

Here are two photos ( not my trailer ) that shows what it should look like.

I know in our 1964 GlobeTrotter (next size up from a Bambi) had a free-standing table that was used in front of the front gaucho. I believe the Bambi II had one also. I know several larger models did...it seems each model's table was a little different. Most '64s had the front gauchos and a free-standing table, as they didn't have dinettes that year.

The cool thing is, is that it has two heights. It can be set up at coffee table or dining table heights. The "Before" picture below shows where it was stowed during travel.

These usually these became separated from the trailer over time though, we still have ours even though we built-in a dinette. We will take it along sometimes for use outside.

We're really excited about being 1st time owners of an airstream. Hope to see some of you at rallies. Does any one have any extra pins for door hinges on the Bambi? Vandels cut the center of the door pins because they couldn't break in any other way,(before we got it). Thanks for your replys.
