Shower stalls for Vintage Airstreams

Does anyone make complete shower stalls for vintage Airstreams? The more I look at all the seams, rivets trim pieces, etc. Our shower pan isn't cracked but that's probably mainly due to the design not being conducive to using the thing. It seems there are only two options that make any sense if I'm going to dig into this project.

#1 Come up with a one piece surround that will incorporate a real shower door:
This is made difficult by the small amount of room to begin with and greatly complicated by the fact the walls are all curved and there's a window extending into the space.

#2 Redo the entire bathroom to make it water proof:
Is this what's called a "wet bath" or do I have the terminology backwards? It certainly has some appeal. For one you could get a shower stall big enough for someone besides a pigmy. Second any shower/bath area is going to be moist just from steam; even more so because there's no venting unless you open the window. So waterproofing the entire space seems like a good idea and would certainly be a big help with clean-up.

hi- I have a catalog from OasisRV in Tucson and it's showing various shower pans and surrounds. The product manufacturer is Duo-Form. The number for Oasis is 520-889-6361. An Airstream, with it's rounded top corners, may necessitate some modification of the surround. Good luck- tim

It all comes down to personal preference.

I liked my wet bath in the 22 ft CCD. It IS bigger to shower in. It also has a curtain that pulls inside the door so NO water goes outside unless you get out wet. I'd do a quick squegee down the walls, push the curtain back, wipe towel myself semi dry, WIPE THE SEAT, then step out. Now I always did my hair over the kitchen sink rather than IN the wet bath, just because the humidity lingers even if you leave the fan on. The sink is handy (and at the right height) if you're boondocking and conserving water. Fill, wash, rinse quickly under the shower and you can bathe in less than 2 gallons of water.

My 22 CCD has more wardrobe space than the 25 Safari FB SE - the total space taken by the wet bath is much less than the separate shower/WC sink rooms. And there's more leg room in the wet bath when seated on the throne - also NO sharp edges in the room to bump your knees or bare bottom on. A friend who is disabled noted that she could use the integrated sink as a pull up bar to get up and down from the toilet.

Disadvantages of the wet bath. Occupancy = 1. It needs to be wiped down after every use - at a bare minimum, the toilet and sink surround need to be wiped down. There is no way one person can shave and brush teeth while the other is showering without using either the kitchen sink, campground facilities or the great outdoors.
