Rooster Catch or Latch?

We just got the covers up on our over head bins in the 53 cloud. I can see by the holes in the ceiling that there was something that held the doors up when opened. I thought they were call rooster catches but the ones I find when searching come with two parts. I can see how one part may go on the ceiling but there are no other holes for the second part on the door.
Can some tell me or show me what would have came on the trailer new or what people use now days to hold them open?

Latches

It looks as if the "rooster catches" simply latched into the loop of the cabinet handle. (photos from Vintageairstream.com)
