Replacement tambours

Replacement tambours can be found at They are the original tambour manufacturer for the A/S.

I have looked through the forums and have not seen any listings for tambour replacement parts but have seen questions about what to do with the missing cabinet doors. Not sure how the specification and ordering process works but we're anticipating finding out soon. Hope this helps.

We are looking at the brushed silver metal or maybe the matching wood rounded finish for our '77 Overlander 'Buttercup.' The originals are not in too bad of shape, however, it looks like there may be a couple missing, so, we're anticipating replacing all of them so they will look the same throughout.

We also really like what they have done at

Site book marked

Great site! Thanks for the post. I've already book marked it. Might even use some as wains coating in a new room we are doing...feel more like I'm in the trailer that way.

Replacement tambours

Greetings robandzoe!

Another good source for replacement tambour material is Tape-Ease. I found them a bit easier to deal with as they will deal direct with the customer rather than referring you to a distributor as Winona Manufacturing did when I was having my Minuet refurbished. I wasn't fond of the plastic laminate and decided to go with birch veneer tambours that Fowler Interiors (Symsonia, KY) stained with a pickling stain to simulate the color of the original plastic laminate - - the result was fantastic - - a bit warmer and richer looking than the plastic. You can find Tape-Ease at:
