Refurbishing with an "L" sofa

We have a 30' Excella, 2001 and would like to know if anyone has experience with retrofitting the salon sofa with an "L" shaped combination. I realize it might require the removal of the lift up tables on either the curb or street side or perhaps both in order to do this but my wife and I think the installation of the "L" sofa would be a vast improvement. We spend nearly six months of the year in our Airstream and this refurbish project would be ideal for our needs.

I'm doing a complete re-do on our '67 28' Ambassador. I will be shortening up the streetside kitchen so that I can add an "L" to the gaucho. I agree that it makes for a nice salon in the longer trailers.
