The other question I have is: How does the extrusion on the tub snap over the spring loaded locks when putting it in the up, fully locked position?

Thanks again for everyone's help.
The piano hinge attaches directly to the bottom rear of the roof locker. Mine was attached with small machine screws and washers.
The locks are spring loaded. When the tub goes up, the locking pins retract slightly.

Thanks for your help. I'll finish the install today and report back.

Installed and Looking Good

Thanks everyone who replied to this thread. The roof locker looks great and the pull down tub works like a charm.
