Peeling wall panels

I have peeling contact paper in a couple of places that need a better solution than what I have come up with. I have tried glue and staples in the case of the paneling look paper. In the shower I have siliconed the paper up as best I could but would like to cover the curve with the peeled paper. Obviously the stuff Lowes sells for doing corners in bath tubs and showers is meant for square joints and won't work here.

Hi, Steve,

I don't get your second picture. What are we supposed to be looking for? That looks like good ole veneer to me, and our trailers shoud be full of it.

I, too, need to replace the shower cladding one of these days. I think it should be done with vinyl rather than contact paper, however. I should have done it when I had the shower pan out, but I thought about how little time I spend in the shower and it was already a repair enough to fix the pan. Besides, all I have is some holes where the PO had two towel racks. Towel racks INSIDE the shower don't make a heck of a lot of sense to me.

I have to say that I admire the way you are going at these repairs. Do you, like me, sometimes sit down in the front and look toward the back and think "You were made to last?"

Or do you see only the things that are yet to be done?

Lamar

I see this thread is a little dated, but I have searched the forums not found any anwsers. I have some peeling woodgrain and would like to hear solutions from others. Is any replacement veneer available?

Thanks!
Jeff
