Pantry racks...
We have a 2006 Safari and find that the pantry can easily accommodate more than the 3 vinyl-coated wire racks that come standard. We'd like to purchase 2 or 3 more. Airstream sells them for about $39 each, which seems quite steep.
Does anyone have another, more reasonably-priced source for these racks? I presume they are all the same size for late model trailers.

You might check Lowe's or Home Depot. I've seen all kinds of coated wire racks and baskets that might work.

Also try a place called The Container Store. They have stuff not yet imagined, for all those nooks and cranies.

Thanks for the suggestions. We would like to keep the Airstream as pure to its original design as possible, so what we want are the exact same hanging pantry racks. Unless there is an aftermarket option, I suppose we'll have to pop for the real thing from Airstream. I have to believe that these are pretty standard items. The trick is to identify the OEM.

myoung
post a photo of the rack in question and perhaps one of us will have seen it or added it to another coach.
i looked through my safari pics and couldn't find what you are referring to.
there are so many organized living closet storage type stores....
surely this isn't produced by airstream, so i'm sure someone can help.
it's not an item in the classics. depending on floor plan/length,
this is what my slide drawer pantry space looks like.....
cheers

Sorry, I should have posted a picture with the initial query. This is the only one I have. Our AS is in the dealer's shop for a while so I can't take a closer picture.

Yikes, did anyone find these racks for a good price, they're wire w/plastic coating. Cost to make, a few dollars? We need a couple more, any help?

We have 2 wire roll out racks like you describe ,I'd like to have one more also. Think I saw em at Wal-Mart or Lowes.
