Organized storage in 30 wardrobe
FYI, The container store has the "elfa easy glider" storage systems of slide frames and storage bins that work beautifully in the 30 foot Wardrobe. We wanted more well organized shelf/bin space and less hanging locker. We used the 21 inch drawers below and two 17 inch one runner drawers above the existing shelf. The 41 inch runner frame works below and provides 5 two runner drawers. Modify a 4 runner frame to a two runner frame for the upper small drawers and you have great drawer storage in 1/2 the wardrobe.

Detail shot of base and side mounting plus the door bumpers to stop the shelf forward movement while in transit. (Screw the front and back lower bracket to the floor. You only need to stabilize the upper at the front corner). If you were to carry quite heavy stuff and wanted the shelving to withstand anything, you could use a PVC pipe spacer under the lower bracket and through-bolt to under the closet floor.

enlightening!!! Howard, any more ideas? Maybe kitchen storage? Honestly, I have to believe that people have all kinds of great storage tricks. This is the first one that I have been able to find.
Thank You!

Kitchen Storage
I put these same shelves (drawers) in our closet and I love them.
Kitchen storage is much harder because of the size and shape of the cabinet. I put my spices the a divided organizer (the small one in the link below.) Each side holds 6 bottles and keeps them from moving.

I put my oils and vinegars in plastic condiment bottles - then put them in a tall Tupperware container with no lid.

I'm going to put sugar, flour, macaroni and such in Tupperware containers in the top of the closet. I've sized the containers but haven't finished this yet.
I'm always looking for more ideas.

I was wondering how people are organizing the sliding overhead compartments in their Signature/Serenity trailers? I have tried one wire stacking shelf, but find it difficult to access the items under the shelf. Just wondering if there's something else out there in the world that works better. TIA!

Thanks

No. 17 above, 21 below. Use 17 inch deep frames for both.

I have the same issue. think someone should design these upper cabinets where the lower front section drops down, using some kind of hidden hinge. It would also have to have some kind of locking mechanism. That way, what's under the wire shelf is accessible.
