Noisy cabinet springs

Has anyone encountered flipper cabinet springs that become very noisy? The hinge springs on our cabinet above the kitchen sink make a lot of noise when opening or closing the cabinet door. It’s a really loud and annoying “boing” sound. The springs and the hinges don’t appear to be rusted or corroded. I tried adjusting the spring tension, and that helped for a while, but the same noise soon came back.

None of our other cabinet springs make any noise.

Any ideas?

I got the same problem. Just came on the last couple of months. I was thinking of spraying some lubricant on them, maybe some silicon spray... works on door hinges at the house.

Hopefully the hive mind has a tried and tested solution..

We’ve had the same squeaking issue. I sprayed them lightly with a silicone lubricant. That works for a few months, then repeat.
