Newbies need help with beds

Hello,

We are newbies to Airstreaming. We have a 1991 25' Excella with twin beds and would like to convert them to a double bed. Has anyone done this? Is it possible or advisable? Or would we be better off looking for a trailer with a double bed?

I had the same question and received some great ideas on a different thread. check out the general restoration forum. There were some great suggestions and a member (Panabax) even posted some pictures that will be very helpful in my conversion.

Remove the night stand between the beds. Put a piece of plywood across the span and lay down your new mattress.
