Newbie question - how best to remove wardrobes and toilet compartment

Hi, I'm slowly taking all the interior out of '56 Safari.

I'm stumped with how to remove wardrobes and toilet cubicle. The ply slots into a silver U channel. Which is riveted to interior walls. Do I simply drill out rivets, run a knife along back of U channel to loosen adhesive? Pics attached.

Thanks so much for any advice

The panels are probably hooked into the track pretty securely. I'd drill out the rivets on at least the first one - then you can examine the panel-to-track joint in more detail.
