New kitchen

I want to take out the kitchen counter top and sink and put in a new one. How do I remove the old one from the wall, and attach a new one?

More info please

Year model, length of your unit please. Construction changes over time, and there are different trim levels. Changing a corian countertop on a Classic is different than a formica one on a CCD or Safari. (Take out the drawers and stick your head in (or a mirror with a bright light - most are screwed to the counter sidewalls with perhaps some braces on the inside walls.
