Has anyone replaced their gaucho with another sofa on top of a floating floor...such as cork or bamboo. Do you anchor the new sofa to the floor...keeping in mind that the floor is to be a floating floor. Any luck getting a sofa from Flexsteel? We are in the planning stages and appreciate your thoughts. Thx!
I bought a red Flexsteel sofa for my Sovereign. We love it. You can see a pic of mine on my blog.
Regarding the floating floors, I don't have one yet. But I'm planning on installing one in a year or so. If I recall correctly, those who have installed a floating floor make their holes slightly larger to allow for floor movement. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Mike...I've heard about overdrilling as well; however, there is still the weight of the sofa/gaucho on the floating floor. I don't know how much the floor would be free to flex with weight on it. Maybe someone can weigh in with how they installed a floating floor under their sofa and how it has held up.

I would be interested in an answer to this also, come on people someone has installed a laminate floor is their Airstream. What did you do about the cabinets, go around or under them? What about the furniture, drill bigger holes for the screws? How much does a laminate floor move if laid length wise?
