All of the screws were in the top of the range.
Three of them in on the very top rear and about four in under the range top into the side of the countertop.
You will need to disconnect the gas line to get the unit to slide forward and then you will have to disconnect the two wires that are for the light.
Weighs about 50 or 60 lbs

Nice work Smily.
did you find matching laminate and do your own sink covers?
Looks as though only the laminate lip is supporting th covers...Is that how they work? Best not put too much weight or an elbow on them huh?
What is the floor plan of your Sovereign? I guess the drop in stove unit wouldnt work in Picks (or my) rear bath due to the location of the furnace. That is ashamed cause the wall oven doesnt fit into my plans, but we have to have a way to bake our pizzas.
Or is that your furnace below your drop in range? If not what is it, a drawer or cabinet?
The furnace in my '85 Sovereign 25' was directly beneath the drop-in stove. I say was, not because I moved the furnace, but because I removed the oven.
The sink covers are actually made of matching laminate on 1/4" plywood then the tops are glued to a 3/4" base. very stout compared to the original ones that simply had two pieces of laminate glued together back to back and yes, they were very fragile.
The furnace is directly below the oven.
