We are a non-faculty part of UALR’s College of Business. Our task is to provide research, data, and other information to the main Arkansas Economic Development Commission (ADEC) and whoever else is doing economic development in the state. Our group and ADEC were both formed in 1955 by the state legislature and have both gone through many different names and acronyms.

One of the worst was a long time ago; I didn’t work there then. It was Division of Government Services Center for Research And Planning, or DOGSCRAP.

What is the ceiling painted with? Is it a faux finish?

Yes it is...painted a light base coat and then went over it with a darker shade using the crumpled up newspaper method.

Hey Gene,

You didn't want to go with big globs of thick vulkem around the edge of your flooring?

How come?

You may need that rope after a few drinks at Branson.

Your trailer sure came out nice. However, I don't understand why you didn't run floor planking length wise. It would have looked a lot less choppy and would have flowed better. Kenny

I really don't mean to be picky. I spent two years redoing my '65 Globetrotter ground up. It was much fun and much heart ache. It will be in the winter '09 issue of Airstream Life. I went with a cork interlocking plank floor. It came out amazing. Kenny

I also spent about 3 times the amount of money that I was planning to spend. That doesn't include over 2000 hours of my time the generosity of some very dear friends. I admire anyone who takes on a project like yours. All the best, Kenny

Hey Kenny,

That's just the way the vinyl was on the roll...I guess we never really paid that much attention the the way the pattern was running.

New Cabinets in our 75 Soverign

Hey G, I have been recovering from knee surgery and haven't been able to post any photo's as of yet. I'm pretty new to the forum and haven't figured out where I should put them. Also, do I have to resize the file size of the photo's so that they are smaller to post ? All the best, Kenny
