Need This Leg O Matic Chair
It's a long shot but thought I'd try. I have this chair and I'm looking for another one to make a set. Hoping someone may have purchased some off ebay or from a yard sale and has one too many. I'm willing to pay a fair price for it.
I just purchased another one (you may be able to make it out in the background) that was sold as having been refinished a "dark brown". The dark brown was actually a very bad paint job. When I stripped it, hoping for matching maple, that chair turned out to be mahogany. Yeah, someone painted a mahogany chair dark brown - go figure.
Anyway - this design in maple that your willing to part with...? Thanks...

I remember Soldiermedic had some, if he doesn't, you can check with RichardT.

Thank you!! It's not the same style though - looked off and on for a year to find the second one in that style which turned out to be mahogany.....

Soldiermedic does have some, but he looked high and low to get them. They are perfect for the medic clan, so I know that they are not interested in selling.

Ahem....
I have a set of two that match, but they are not the same as the ones in your picture Gang. I do not need them since I have purchased a set of 4 off Craigslist.

Bump
Pushing to the top for weekend viewing. Adding a photo - the one on the right is what we are trying to get to in a pair. The left is the one that turned out to be mahogany - went ahead and restored it to throw back out on ebay.
Thanks to Soldiermedic for offering a different pair of these - too far along to start over though. Appreciate it....

Hi Gary,
Nice work on the restoration of both. Good luck in finding another one.

JLS - thanks so much for your offer. I did find another chair like the one we were looking for but have not stripped it yet to check the color. In the process of looking I found 4 more in an antique shop - a little rough but I only paid $15 each for them. They are a future project.
Your chairs are excellent. List them here and on eBay - someone will take them off your hands I'm sure. (you may have to lower the price a bit to get them sold).
Thanks again - appreciate your offer.
