Now that sucks real bad...Bad enough have to pay that much for a window latch but then to misplace it hurts worse you know why ..AS soon as you order and get a new one you will find that basterd LOL... Just so you guys know this trailer was used by three generations of my family. My father bought this trailer so my grandfather would have a place to stay when he came and visited during the New England summer. When my grandfather passed it was a place for my dad to remember my grandfather he even had the air conditioner repaired and fixed so on a hot day he would watch jeopardy like my grandfather did(it always smelled like coffee and toast ) So my father died almost 9 months ago and my mom was going to sell it till I said no I want it .It was weird I was cleaning out the old beast and (it did not smell like coffee and toast anymore) I was saying maybe it is to much work to restore or even get this trailer back up and moving again. Ill tell you it was like a sign I am not a religious freak or even believe in the allot of that crap but I was closing the door to the trailer and whoosh I smelt coffee and toast over all the mold smell and mice poop I got goose bump real bad and said well I guess I am restore this old thing. Anyways it has been sitting in my parent’s back yard half covered with leaf litter. The power has been off since about three years after the people who installed our dog’s invisible fence. So the electric varmint is gone thing stop working. So it has allotted of mice nests. I know it will take about 1000 bucks to get this up and moving and livable at least. It need new brake pads and need bearing to have that done at local auto shop about 200 bucks for two axles then replace or fix the vents about 200 bucks , the screens in the front and rear 40 bucks, repaint the bathroom counter and the shower stall about 50 bucks,Replace rusted latches 32 bucks each at least three of them 96 bucks, three 12 volt three way switches 10 bucks so it will take a little money but memorys are priceless my friends there priceless allways.

As far as I know those latches are available from most Airstream Dealers. They are in the $30-$40 each range. I bought some of mine from Ace Fogdall RV in Cedar Falls, IA they are Vintage Friendly. Then I got a couple more from Out-of-Doors Mart in Colfax, NC.
