Need help with Excella folding table
I bought an Excella folding table on eBay to install in my 78 Silver Streak. I have seen pictures of it installed in its original application and it appears that there is some kind of shelf unit mounted to the wall to aid in tucking away all the table parts when it is down. As indicated in the pictures all I have is the folding table and legs. Can someone send me measurements, diagrams, close-up pictures or even napkin drawings of what I need to build to get this to mount and work in my trailer? All answers would be greatly appreciated.

I have some pics in my member photo area of the inside of my 86 Excella, uses that kind of table.
You really need the rail that screws to the trailer wall/side, that allows front/back positioning of said table.

It is a very arcane system.
After taking one apart I was baffled trying to figure out the logic behind it. But like many things Airstream, it somehow functions .

I have a '62 Overlander that has no table. Does anyone know if they originally had something? Any ideas of what would work?

don't now if they did, must have had something... You could put in a post table.. Andy should have them or Vintage Trailer Supply - Vintage travel trailer parts and supplies! has some that flush mount in the floor...

You need the other half of the slide hinge mechanism show in Overlander63 pictures. Try and get back to the E Bay seller and see if he has it. If not try a Dealer or someone like COLAW RV PARTS & SALVAGE | WE HAVE YOUR PART!
The table is designed to hinge out of a shallow box enclosure that is part of the shelf under the window. You don't have to have the shelf as originally designed but just an enclosure will be enough to finish off the installation. Once the table is out the slide hinge allows the table to be pulled about 10 ins. closer to the couch. This sliding allows people to get in behind the table with out being contortionist.

Is there a latch or catch that holds the bottom of the table close to the wall during transit, mine has a tendency to swing out and the hinges are leaving marks on the floor. send a pic if possible.

When I traveled with bikes in the rig, I would fold the table against the wall, placing a tennis shoe under the table to support it (I felt that relieving some of the weight on the hinge attachment was a good idea. Still do). When we travel, and I don't need the floor space, I leave the table set up - in the 1/2 position. I think this is the most stable configuration.
