Locks for the sliding doors in the loo

Looking for suggestions on how folks stop the sliding cabinet doors in the bathroom vanity from sliding while traveling. Easy choice would be to drop a couple of dowels in the aluminum channel but wonder what others have tried.

Our Classic has a plastic strap with buttons that are pushed onto the mating head on the frame. We got some cheap mouse pads to roll up and center the door in the opening and keep it from moving with the strap keeping them in place.

Back in '78 they had a stopper knob catch on the track that locked the doors in open or closed position.

My New to me EB has pinched ends on the metal tracks - you really have to work to close the last couple of inches, but then the doors stay snugly shut.

I think I prefer the dowel rods. In the first A/S I had, I stored them in the little niche that the folding door was stored in. Kept the awning tool there too.

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.

I had this problem with al the overhead compartments on my Int 27FB. What solved the problem was a 1" wide piece of very dense closed cell foam shaped like a squared off "S". I would insert this into the overlap of the closed doors, preventing them from sliding. My guess is I will have use a similar solution for my new Serenity as it has similar sliding doors.

Once a solution is found, photo to follow.

Happy trails and Good Luck
