Gaucho Replacement/upholstery

Sent out our 1973 AS Gaucho and our upholster after a 3 weeks said they could do it in vinyl we supplied to them and we would need to find special upholster that works on RV's seating due to the length of the gaucho. Thought we could get it recovered but looks like that's not going to be the case.. Can you buy cushion for the Gaucho? Any idea? Didn't want to spend a grand on a sofa..

You just need to buy them a couple pieces of vinyl a foot longer than the gaucho is wide.

You also need to find a different upholsterer.

Pro Tip: Some of the folks in the more ethnically diverse parts of town will make you a much better deal - and will do awesome quality work, too!

I think you need a new upholsterer. I had my gaucho recovered, a new foam insert and both twin beds recovered for $400. I supplied the vintage fabric. I did the side pieces myself like in your pictures.
