Hi Zep
I'm looking for a vent fan motor. It mounts with 2 screws that protrude from the bottom of the motor. They are 2 3/8 " apart. If you have a 12 volt cigarett outlet that would be great too. I would prefer a surface mount, but will take a flush outlet if that what you have.
Thanks
Ricky 3DN

Actually, from the Sovereign

All the cabinets around the fridge and all the parts for the pull-out sofa bed are available. If you want complete pieces that over a couple of feet long, let's discuss. Same terms as usual, eg, free. Just pay shipping.

Kitchen window shroud. The upper corners are thin and cracked, but the venetian blind molded hooks are in good shape and are separate from the shroud, just two pop rivets and they come out.

Sofa bed. The main rail and kick panels with the tambours are long enough to cause a shipping issue, same goes for foam (not pictured). I'll hold the parts for a few days to give priority to someone who wants the whole thing.

Fridge cabinets. The frame that holds the tambours is in the same nasty shipping category.

I have been looking for a working thermometer from the '70's for some time , if you happen to have one that you are not using I would be very interested. I have confidence that eventually you will take apart enough of these to come across one . Some time you have to post some pics of the completed projects . Thanks for being so generous in the past and present to all who need parts .

Parts & what

Hey Zep,

I thought us said pm. I guess I'll just go with the flow.

I could use a couple of the gaucho slides. I want to add some more support as I ain't no petite feller. Also I could use some of them wood wedgy thangs and the plastic slide end caps with the lugs on them.

If you have a window you think will work in my door we could use it as a demo at the resto,

TICKI2, I doubt you'll find a thermometer. All the ones I've taken out have lost their gas.

LUMATIC, perfect! Those are exactly the parts I wanted to ship. I'll send you all 4 sets of sliders--slides, rails, wood dodads, plastic parts. That will be a neat little 30" package. How you doing on your door window?

2333, where you been? I almost sent you a PM yesterday to see if you were still kickin'. Did you want me to cut the door out with the panel? Anything for you. Speaking of anything [at all], you still livin' with that mean roller derby piece of work?

The rest of you! I can't believe no one needs the tambours...

Bad Mojo #69 - She's still going strong

As far as working on my AS...you know how life goes. I am glad to see you're still plugging away though.
I got distracted by picking up another Vintage piece. Travelalls in this condition don't come up too often so I had to take it while it was available. We named it Beluga, definitely a whale (gender has yet to be assigned).

Craig - you've got to post on the vintage tow vehicles post. I'd love too see more.

Zep, do you know how much I owe you for shipping the windows? Again, no rush, but I didn't want you to think I don't want them. P.M. when you know..
Thanks!
Marc

Keeping the stove. Works great.

The only reason you would want an old Univolt is for the fuse panel. I tossed it months ago and kept the fuse panel. Really, they boil your battery, so you wind up paying for a new converter just in battery cost in two years. Pluse their voltage regulation is poor, compared to today's converters. And they weigh a zillion pounds, compared to about 7 pounds for a modern converter.

OOpS!!! I think I did not give my posting enough time to show up!! I guess I will try to do some research in obtaining and utilizing an intellivolt, but, I am still interested in the stove/oven as mine is totally ===shot....I noticed that mine is rusted beyond repair....Sometimes I wonder just what I have gotten myself into as I have no welding/electirical skills---only healthcare---to mend broken bodies--but I am more than willing to learn for my ole' gal---my 74' sovereign...Keep me posted....

Hi there,

Not sure if there is anything left, I know I'm late replying to this thread. Do you still have the drawers from under the sink? The drawers I need measure 19 in long, 10in wide and 3 3/4 in deep. They are brown like yours and have two black rollers in the back on top. Would you shoot an email to [email edited out to prevent spam attack on member. Please use PM system! ]

I managed to get rid of everything at the 4CU Rally last weekend. Some of those drawers were available, but in the end LUMATIC took everything that was left. You might PM him to see if has them.

More parts

Some of these small parts might be useful to someone doing an original interior. Not all of them are out of the Safari.

Wing window trim, fragile and, as you can see, cracked and broken. Maybe a good mold or perhaps repairable. From the Overlander.

This vent cover is from the kitchen exhaust fan. The stove cover is mostly just dusty. Some small rust spots that will probably polish out. The stove cover is in good mechanical condition. From the Safari and Overlander.

TV antenna parts and vent knobs/light switch knobs. These are screw-on type light switch knobs. From the Safari.

Goucho frame. I'd have to look again to see if there are any tambours with it. From the Overlander.

NOT SHOWN: Complete two-door closet from a Sovereign. This includes two partitions, two doors, and the overhead shelf with tambours. Not all the plastic trim (the thin sliding pieces in the faces of the metal extrusions) is intact, but most is. This includes working latches in the doors. Shipping the partitions and doors is a problem, so I suggest they be "reserved" and they will show up at the 4CU Restoration Rally or the DenCo Maintenance Rally.

Original heater from the 72 Overlander. This heater is fully functional. The fan makes a moderate rumble when running, but no squeeks, so it has some life left in it. On the other hand, it's hard to tell how bad the internal corrosion is. You can see in the right photo that the pilot port has lost about 1/4" at the 9-o'clock position. I don't know what it weighs, but it's heavy. Same shipping recommendation as above--meet me at a rally.

Here's an original pump. Pumps like crazy, leaks around the bottom edge. At first I thought that this might be a freeze damage crack, but I can't find any cracks at all. It may just be a failure of the gasket. This pumps comes with a spare belt and what I believe to be a spare gasket. The SureFlo pump also pumps like crazy, but if you put an accumulator on it, it never gets to a pressure where it turns off. I'm guessing it's got a fair amount of backflow leakage.

All of the items in this and previous post are mostly first come, first served. However, I reserve the right to allocate certain items to members who are restoring their Airstreams to original condition. I also give preference to supporting members. Not exclusively, just a bit of preference.
