Posts: 45 you think It'll work?

I found this free and I am wondering if I should get it. I want to make a double bed that stays up permanently in my 70 overlander. I want to use this as a base. Of course I know that I will have to lay a piece of (plywood, if so how thick) across it to make a standard 54 x 75 double. I can just put "legs" on the other side the heighth of this box to level (unless you have a better idea)

H = 18.5"
W = 21"
L = 75 "

or would it be easier/less expensive to buy and then assemble? See pics of free under the bed storage and Ikea bed measuring 76 x 59 1/4 x 13 3/4" high?

I've never built anything, but I'm up for the challenge.

It's hard for me to calculate potential loss when the purchase price is zero. Will you have something to lose by trying it?

Click on the link to see a picture of the Sioux River falls near my home.
Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

For the price...What do you have to lose but some time?

Give it a go and let us know how it works out for you.
