Flooring Before Reinstalling Gaucho?

I was wondering if anyone has laid down a floating floor in their airstream and if so, did you reinstall your gaucho overtop of the new flooring? Is there a problem screwing/anchoring the gaucho to the flooring given the fact that it is a moving floor and not fastened to the subfloor? Thanks for the help!

When you screw down anything you removed while installing the floor just drill a 1in. hole through the new floor and screw through it. If the floor moves, and 2 years has not shown any movement, the floor will float around the screw.

You can see I removed as much as possible before setting the floor. This removes the need for 1/4 round at the base of things and makes for a faster install. To remove all the cabinets, coach and dinette took less than an hour with a drill screwdriver.

I removed the drawer of the coach and tied the coach itself up to the cabinet door above and only laid the floor about 6 ins. under the coach. No reason the waste flooring under there.

Not at all. There are 4 bolts holding down the 2 straps under the backrest. and 4 bolts holding the backrest arms to the base. Less than 5 mins. to get out.

It is a little awkward aligning arm bolts just because they are on the edge of the base but not a problem

I have oak flooring up front and marmoleum in the back. Did not take out the gaucho. Used 3/4" aluminum angle iron for molding.
