My Argosy manual recommends #8 sheet metal screws drilled with a #30 drill bit. I just removed my overheads and they were indeed screwed in not rivetted. I also had aluminum T molding mounting the cabinet (one inside edge was attached to the skin, the other to the inside cabinet wall with rivets). The cabinet should be light as Overlander would attest to.
