Well...I can't find the thread where someone asked me how I made the sink covers in my Galley...so I thought I'd make a separate 'thread' for "Custom Pieces"...in hopes of 'luring' them here so they'll see this and respond. (I tried the 'Search' Andy...& no luck)..and I wrote the "Webbie" (is that you?)
Anywaysssssssssss....... I took photos of the sink covers today...and also photos of the ALUMINUM TRIM (Tee-Moulding Trim!)) and it DOES NOT need to be 'mitred'. This stuff is only tough to work with if you aren't strong and precise and have a good head for measurements. My son installed it onto the curved Credenza in the Salon today (3 outer curves, and 2 INNER curves) and it looks fabulous. He also did the Galley countertop. He had previously done the 'bars' above the Frig. and the (2) dining room table(s) (that fold together) are next. It does take a lot of WRIST control..
It looks just AWESOME. This photo session will be done about August 1st. So, I'll download this session before I go on my holiday August 10th.
I hope this thread will pull everyone in who has commented on my "Retro" remodeling. (1 was on the Sink Covers; 1 was on the T-Trim; 1 was on the single sheet of Vinyl (I know where that thread is). The others will come ....
