Curtis Wright dinette table leg

Hi all. I have been working on my Curtis Wright for the better part of a year now and have finally gotten to the fun part of installing the "bling"! I have built the benches for it and now need to finish the dinette table. I want a wooden leg for the table but I don't know how to build attachment to the table part. I need to see the area where the leg attaches to the table. I don't want to just attach the leg with a hinge to the table. I think the leg needs a wooden back plate that attaches to the bottom of the table with a piano type hinge. I think there also needs to be a hook to attach the leg to the table once the leg is in place. Does anyone with a wooden table leg have pictures of that area? It would be helpful to see what I need to do before inventing something (as I seem to always be doing!) Here are a couple of pictures of the benches. Chris

Thanks for the reply. I have finished the dining area and used a stainless piano type hinge to secure a tapered Poplar board leg to the table. Here's the result.
