There is a mixture of about 4 chemicals that can take the yellowing out. I have it bookmarked on another computer. I believe that it is on this forum someplace. I know it has oxyclean and a beauty parlor grade hydrogen peroxide bleach also I think it also used a gelatin go make it a paste.

I don't have a link to the thread, but have used the formula and it worked very well. Do a search for cleaning white plastic.

Thanks, I'll try Lisa's recipe. I have a '72 Overlander with a VERY yellow bathroom, plus all the window shade pulls are yellow. Painting the shade pulls didn't give the results I wanted as much of the paint peels in high humidity. Off to buy and mix up RetroBrite.
Thanks for all the good information.
Rookie in MN.
