Corian on range cover

Could not find an answer to this using the search function, so here goes:
My 99 Excella has Corian attached to the metal fold down range cover, so that in the down position it matches the countertops. It is coming loose. It's only loose enough that I can lift it about 1/2" on one corner. There are no screws, bolts, etc holding it down, so I assume it is held in place by adhesive.

Can anyone tell me what adhesive was used by Airstream when it was built at the factory? There is nothing in the owner's manual about this.

Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but if I were in your shoes I would give Airstream at JC a call. I don't know imagine they would have any problem answering the question to help you.

Worth a try.

I would guess silicone sealant or possibly a construction adhesive. Call JC and ask, they may know or they may not.

My thought too, but I wanted to make sure before applying silicone to anything.

I appreciate that information!
