Corian Counter tops

Does any one know when Corian Counter tops were first installed in Airstreams, (OEM)?

I looked at a 1976 yesterday that had Corian Counter tops and I was suprised to see it. I thought that Corian had only been around for about 10 or 15 years tops.

It could be that the PO's had it custom made. Last time I got a quote on a Corian countertop it was $12 an INCH!

I dont think it is aftermarket. I think it is OEM.

Looks like Corian has been around for a long time.

They have been making it since at least 1968, longer than I would have thought. It probably is original if it is a 1976.
