Chairs

I purchased two chairs at auction and I wonder if anyone knows their age and value. They are wood with canvas. I have tried to attach a picture for clarification. Thanks for a reply.

They do move for sitting upright or reclining.

Couple of possiblities Byer of Maine, makes a similar chair. My dad has made chairs like it before, and we had some that were purchased from the Amana colonies way back in the late 60's. Possibly contact Airstream and see what they might know. I would guess probably from the early 80's with an orginal value of maybe $50 each?

There are no tags or labels on the chairs or fabric.

Smile Chairs

The Airstream Logo may be an indication of the timeframe in which they were made. It matches the logo on my 1979 unit. I have never seen those before either. What a find! Let me know if you decide to sell...very cool.

Had a garage sale last week and had them out. One couple saw them and wanted them bad enough to pay me 400% over what I paid for them. They didn't even have an airstream. The reason I sold them was, when they are folded the length was such that you could not store them anywhere in the motorhome. They would not fit in the closet etc. You had to lay them on the floor while traveling which I didn't want to do.

Wish I had been the first one at your garage sale, I would be taking them home.
