Is this chair OEM?

I have a chair like the one on this picture that came with my trailer. I am sure the PO told me that he was always going to throw it out but it rode well and didn't take up much space so he just left it. I have been doing the same thing.
Anybody recognize it as airstream issue maybe??
Should I treat it with more respect?

I'm not certain I could treat a chair with that colour of upholstery with any level of respect!

I have a barrel chair that came with a 76 Sovereign. The PO told me it came in it. When we shipped it to Europe, they wouldnt allow it to be inside so I brought it home, anyone need it? It is a light greenish color. Its actually comfortable, I have it in my house at the moment.

I don't think it was an OEM, but can't say 100% for sure.

so the chair YOU have isn't this one...

but one LIKE it?

does YOUR chair rock, recline and swivel?

are there 2 vertical steel coil spring on the underside and 4-5 legs?

a/s dealers DID offer as an option chairs like this in the 70s.

mostly on the moho side but one could be put in trailers too...

i had the one in my moho reupholstered after 10 years use, and it remained in use another 15 years...

then one evening while rocking and reclining and swiveling...

one of the springs snapped and the the chair fell apart....

it was EXTREMELY comfortable but could not be repaired.

r.i.p chair circa 1979-2004...

cheers

It certainly could have come in my Sovereign. I'm learning to live with PINK.

Not pink . . ROSE! (seems easier on the self-respect)

I'll have to go the storage place and take a picture of my chair now. I has the coil springs on the side , rocks and swivels. The base of the chair in the picture is what I recognized. I would like it to be an Airstream chair. I'd have it refinished if it was.

I had that chair in my 79

Silver Threads I had that exact chair in a brown color in my 79 Ambassador. So if it isn't an original than a lot of people had a similar streak of bad taste.
