Best Couch/Bed for Airstream?

Does anyone have any thoughts about the best couch which converts into a bed for an Airstream? Does Airstream offer the most comfortable? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kimberly

Keep in mind the weight, the convertables are pretty heavy. I have a leather love seat in mine. Real nice to set on, no room for sleeping...

Good Question...

Unfortunately, my Airstream was stripped of all furniture by the previous owners, so I've had to look into this very thing. I ended up buying a flexsteel RV sofa which converts into a very comfortable bed. It looks great, too.

Try the ones at Camping World. They seem to have a decent assortment on their web site. Each person has there own opinion as to what is comfortable. Personally, I've never found one that could do both well,

Hi Kinberly...the couch in my AS mh was very uncomfortable, too high to sit and not good as a bed...I'm going ultramodern in the remodel so I bought a couch from Eurway...the most comfortable I've seen was a flexsteel in a Fleetwood Southwind I owned for a while...good luck in your search...joe..

Find a couch

I have picked up a couple from co-law rv salvage for trailors a friend of mine was working on. Flex-steel seems to be the best wearing and the best sleeping and comfortablesitting of all of them.
They ship to you and I think they can send you pictures of their used ones. They also ordered him a new one at what seemed to be cost when you compared it to camping world prices.
they are near springfield mo.

Even if you can not find one with the curved arm rests you can get the fabric # and order some and make your own armrests. Goodluck
