Beginning building a dinette/bed ... feel free to add advise

Should we be concerned about anchoring the tank at all? This bench will be anchored to the floor. The pump will obviously be secured to the floor.

Wish we were there!

All I can see when I see your picture is "Man, I wish we were there!" Our AS is purely in the demo mode right now and construction of anything new seems like a million miles from now. Yours looks great!

In our '73, the fresh water tank fits in the belly pan inside a compartment made especially for it. The factory used 1" plywood spacers along the sides and end to keep it from moving around too much. It was not strapped or anchored directly.

Love that floor, by the way.

I would recommend at least using spacers. Sloshing water has the ability to move things around a lot. Why chance it?

Thanks. The floor is from Ikea. The po did a great job on it, so I can't take the credit for that.

Not much further this winter, but we made some progress.
