Table Counter Trim

So I ordered the edge molding from VTS, paid for the 8' tube and it finally showed up, except the tube was empty. The plastic taped over ends were gone on one end and hanging by a thread on the other. So thanks UPS.
VTS is sending out another round so we'll see this time what happens.

That's nice...

Uh...have you considered an alternate moulding? You obviously are not meant to get this one...OMG! I'm sorry, but I had a good laugh at your expense...thanks, I needed that!

RichHog,
I am doing research for a remodel and stumbled upon this thread.
Did you ever finish this project?
I want to know if that A-813 easily bends?
Thanks!

Luc

I never could get the local Home Depot to order it as they didn't stock it here. Then looked at local hardware stores and gave up on it. I wound up using a black T-molding around the table edge that looked nice when finished. There were several people that had used the A-813 on their tables/counters that looked great.
I still have lots of the t-molding trim if you decide you want it.

A-813 does bend easily with just hand pressure... We used it on our counter and table top...see post #19 above. We cut it to size with a hack saw, then screwed one end into place, and bent it to shape around the curved edge of the counter and table.

We got our aluminum trim at Ace Hardware...

Getting ready to do it but have one final question. Did you use the screws provided or did you use something more decorative? The screws that came with the trim seem dull to me.

We used the screws that came with the trim, but you can use any similar screws you wish.
