70's vaneer and bathroom trim

I need to replace some wood vaneer in the kitchen and dresser area of my '77 Excella 500. It looks like Mahogany of some type and I need widths of appx. 1.5" by 7' long for the kitchen and 2.5" by 3' for the dresser.

I also need the off white or light beige plastic? insert trim in the bathroom that is about 1" wide. Is this the same as #71411 insert nosing shown on Inland's website.

I wonder if they have any of the old vaneer also?

70's Era Plastic Trim

Craig I have wondered the same thing about the insert trim from Inland.
Actuallly I intend to see if a "lipless" trim will slide in and hold and look good where the #71411-Andy trim is now.
You can see in his picture that the 71411 has a very slight step-down along the side. That step "3D's" the center of the insert out for a nicer appearance which fills the extrusion channel. I am curious how a flat piece of either veneer tape or a cut of laminate would look in those extruded channels. If they would work there's lots of color could be added for accent.

BTW there are a few places along the kitchen overhead cabs where the beige/off white trim insert is a flat piece(lipless) of cut laminate. But those extruded channels are different. I think the trim (beige) on my front curtain valances is the same #71411.

It would be wise to pay a couple bucks and order a 6 inch piece from Inland Andy . If he would waive the shipping and handling or minimum charge( it would fit in an envelope). If there is too much doubt.
However I think 71411 is what is in my 74 Excella. I'm just tired of the color.

There are several cracks in the middle of some of the beige trim is. The PO also drilled 2 holes to hold something about 6" from these cracks. I'd planned on replacing it for cosmetic reasons as well as not to be distracting for the next owner. The mahogany looking vaneer is just incomplete and, well you know, it is an Airstream! It should look good.

Craig I think the woodgrain veneer is just a laminate, probably from one of the big 3 back then, Formica, Wilson Art or Pionite if memory serves me right. If so and if the factory could look it up there might still be some available. (I am not sure Pionite still exists as a company).
Knowing the manufacturer of many of the components would sure be a great help in some cases. I wonder if the AS company would research if asked?

BTW you mention "a next owner" . Are you planning on getting out? I'd hate to see you leave us.

Yep, Pionite does still exist. Although with any trendy product, the styles & colors have been updated and changed as well as product improvements have been made.

I don't know whether the laminate in question is Pionite or not...
