2019 25’ FB dinette remodel

I have just finished phase one of our dinette remodle replaced the furnace corner with a 1966 Thomasville end table and shortened and narrowed the couch area. Need some help to load our loveseat in the rear of the rig will post more pictures when completed. I need to find a new home for all the cushions we have as well.

To be quite honest, that ugly cabinet looks very much out of place.

I like where you're headed. I have a 2019 International Sig 25FB and I want to remove the dinette as well and replace with a couch similar to the one on the 28ft. My thought is to build in the L shape couch with the smaller side housing the furnace. Next step would be to take the remaining portion of the couch from furnace to tv wall and turn it into a work station for food prep and/or work on the road. I also want to take the half circle out of the sink area and turn that into a straight counter for the galley. I haven't been able to find anyone doing this type of remodel on a new unit. Thanks for posting your work. Keep us posted on your progress.

I like your creative use of end table for the poorly placed furnace.

and to Silverwind, try using a little honey every now and again. That vinegar gets old and stinkin'

Hi, I think I could be wrong, but I think this is common when using a cell phone instead of a computer.

Ditto. Not that you asked for anyone’s opinion but that style clash is pretty jarring and could impact the resale value of the trailer. I’d encourage you to find a more modern cabinet in line with the style you paid so handsomely for from Airstream.

Good luck on your remodel. Would you share information on the blind you have on the window? Where did you get it?

Great ideas to change out the dinette. We had a 23D with that same dinette+long sofa combination. When it was written off, we knew we wouldn’t get that layout again. We wanted a sofa instead. That only left the 28 or 30. (We couldn’t find a used 25SS in time.)

Ultimate Airstream will renovate and match laminates. We’ve seen their work. Incredible!

We are happy with our changes our rig is not going to be a museum or on the parade of homes. We are looking for a place to live in comfort, as for resale that’s not an issue. This is our final home, and everything I have done can be undone if I want to, as long as we are happy with our ugly cabinet it shouldn’t matter if someone else likes it our not. As for what someone thinks is blinds in our RV it’s the siding on the addition to my garage. Not sure about this negative comments, I was taught if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all.

For kitchen sink, we are looking at a similar change. The unit in a EB 25 is what we have in mind. We took out the curb corner unit and replaced with a swivel recliner. I had to make a four inch lift for recliner and still too low for table height. Street side, no change. The blinds we took out and replaced with day/night pleated shades, both end and street side. We also put day night shade in bed room. We already replaced the queen with twin beds, too old to need queen.

Our RecPro Recliners with newly cut door for storage lost when the recliners were installed in our 2014 25 FC FBT. Piano hinge added and hole drilled for finger pull to open.
