2010, 22' FB table to couch conversion need help

can anyone explain better than the hand book instructions, how the devil to position the table properly to make the couch????
if the table stays on the pedestal and is lowered all the way down! the couch surface is uneven because the table stays higher than the surrounding framing. does this make sense? it doesn't makes sense to me to sleep on a surface that is uneven? There is probably something we are missing,
BUT we are usually very good at figuring things like this out!! The directions are ridiculous
because it says to remove the pedestal for the table, but that is screwed to the floor!!! I looked for a YouTube, Nothing.
Could someone please respond to this, or better yet, make a youtube of of how this is supposed to work and post it. I know we can do this!

Sounds like you're doing it right, the table does sit uneven with the rest of the surfaces. Doesn't make sense to me either, but it is what it is...

oh wow, thanks! what a silly arrangement then. we decided to watch tv from the bed on a tv resting on the table, not from the couch to the kitchen counter. the tv on the wall is way too high to view from anywhere and besides it doesn't work? it is going away! leaving a big space on the frig for something else? I hate it when a tv is visible in the middle of a room anyway? we will store it in the closet until we want to see it!! thanks for replying, you were the only one!! guess this it not a very big concern to most folks.
